Beef

Do you get tired of running to the store for your next meal?

With our system, you simply tell us if you'd like a 1/4, 1/2, or whole animal and we tell you when it will be available. Then the beef is sent into a local processor, Byron Center Meats, where it is processed the way you choose, after dry-aging for two weeks. Once we receive the final weight of the animal, we call you with the price and you simply mail us a check. Then when Byron Center calls  you, you may go pick it up and pay them for processing. Then you have beef on hand for the rest of the year!

The cost of beef tenderloin at the store runs between $20 and $30 per pound. If you buy from us, the cost for a whole animal averages to about $6 per pound. There is a huge savings in buying this way and you only have to plan for it about once a year! Also, imagine how convenient it is. I wasn't raised with a freezer full of beef, but have come to appreciate how easy it is to just go to the basement the same day and thaw a roast or whichever cut of meat I choose. Especially with Michigan's unpredictable weather, we may be stuck home in a snowstorm with no other groceries and still have a great selection of beef! Once you've tried our beef, we are confident you won't buy anywhere else.
